The Point Resort seeks highly motivated, outgoing, friendly, and hard-working individuals to fill maintenance positions. These positions run from May through September and involve a non-typical work week.
Grounds Maintenance

ON THE GROUNDS
Looking for eager individuals that enjoy people and can communicate well. Responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of park buildings and facilities. Others chores include cabin and site cleaning, lawn maintenance, tree trimming, painting, and pool upkeep, all while interacting with our guests. This is an outdoor position that may require individuals to work independently without constant or direct supervision.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
– Outgoing & hardworking
– At least 19 years of age
– Use a variety of hand tools and motorized equipment
– Maintain written records
– Read and follow written and verbal instructions
– Strong communication skills
– Solid customer service skills
– Work in inclement weather conditions
– Work independently, or as a member of a crew
– Night shift & weekends
– Valid driver’s license is required
– First Aid Certification would be an asset
Reservations Agent

IN THE OFFICE
This position requires applicants to have strong telephone, computer, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include assisting guest with making and altering reservations, answering detailed questions, and making sure the guest feels welcome as they enter the park. This position is the first point of contact for our guests, so friendliness is essential. Individuals in this role may be expected to assist in other areas of the park when there is less work serving guests in the store..
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
– At least 19 years of age
– Responsible for greeting guests
– Answering telephones, taking reservations
– Must have great people skills & customer service skills
– Must possess strong administration and grammatical skills
– Operate all aspects of front office computer system
– Experience handling cash, accounting procedures
– Uphold’s the park’s commitment to hospitality
– Available for shift & weekends
– Valid driver’s license is required
– First Aid Certification would be an asset
Food Service

ON THE GRILL
Looking for efficient, clean, friendly people to work in the park’s food venue. Food preparation skills are a must as well as interpersonal skills for the guests. Food served is basic but our standards are a must, as well as our attention to cleanliness both inside and outside the venue. Work will be weekends only with some shifts early morning and others going until late in the evening..
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
– At least 19 years of age
– Reliable staff with a positive attitude
– Friendly customer service skills
– Food prep & plating
– Responsible for maintaining & clean
– Responsible for maintaining all park standards
– Work in all weather conditions
– Must be available for shift work nights & weekends
– Must be able to stand/lift and walk for extended periods
– Cash handling skills
– Night shift & weekends
– First Aid Certification would be an asset
