Keep food, snacks, coolers, and garbage SECURE in your vehicle when not in use. Otherwise the FOREST might visit you!

NO photography is permitted anywhere in the park. Personal photos are only permitted on your own site, facing inward, and only with the consent of everyone in the photo.
Privacy is part of what makes The POINT special, and protecting the community is everyone's responsibility.

People, not vehicles, are the priority at The POINT.
The speed limit throughout the park is 12 km/h or less. With pedestrians, pets, cyclists, and fellow campers around every corner, slowing down helps keep The POINT safe, relaxed, and enjoyable for everyone.

Your vehicle is limited to your assigned parking space. Roads, amenities, open and common areas are kept free of parked vehicles so everyone can enjoy a safe, accessible, and relaxing park experience.

The POINT is built on inclusion, respect, and community. Be a good neighbour and be mindful of those around you. Treat fellow members, guests, volunteers, and staff with courtesy and kindness. Behaviour that detracts from the comfort, safety, or enjoyment of others may result in an early departure.

7. All Good Things Have A Check Out Time

Check out time is 12:00 PM, when your reservation expires. By noon, your site must be fully cleaned and vacated including vehicles, and ready for site maintenance and the next guest. Sites not vacated by noon are subject to a $55 late departure fee, applied automatically without the need for interaction with park staff. The late departure fee does not extend your reservation or entitle you to additional time on your site.

Members in good standing staying 2 or more nights may enjoy up to 3 extra hours of pool time on departure day.
Vacate your site and move your vehicle to Overflow Parking by 12:00 PM. You must leave the park by 3:00 PM.

  • The POINT Resort is an adult-only private membership resort and safer space exclusively for gay and bisexual men. All guests must be 19+.
  • An annual membership is required and must be paid and signed upon the first arrival each season.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID is required for park entry; otherwise, access will be denied.
  • Resort policy requires advanced booking for all guests - special events and weekends often reach park capacity. When this occurs, additional guests who are not registered and confirmed on the reservation will be turned away.
  • Weekends have minimum-night requirements; two nights for regular weekends, three for long weekends and certain special events. For more information refer to specific event details or contact the park office.
  • Late check-in fees apply to all check-ins outside of store hours, when service is available. Please see LATE CHECK-IN POLICY in this section or contact the park office for more information.
  • Patrons must contact the park office in advance to confirm late check-in service availability. If late check-ins are not permitted, patrons can check-in when the office opens, the next business day.
  • Prices and availability are subject to change at any time. Online transactions are subject to confirmation and adjustment. Promotions, discounts and coupons can not be combined. Please contact park office for most current pricing and details in advance.
  • All site reservations (PLUS any special event fees when applicable), require payment in full at the time of booking including online, in person, or over the phone.
  • Entry to the park is prohibited without formal check-in and will result in ejection from the premises, termination of membership, and cancellation of current and future reservations without refund.
  • Please see the Cancellation Policy for fees and further information.
  • Cancellations received before 2:00pm EDT 6 days prior to the commencement of the reservation, are eligible for a refund less the cancellation fee. Reservations less than 6 days are non-refundable including any special event fees.
  • Cancellations include, but are not limited to; a complete reservation, the reduction of a person or persons from an existing reservation, reduction in length of stay, trailer storage, etc.
  • No exceptions will be made to our cancellation and refund policy. This includes, but is not limited to: errors when making a reservation, campground evictions, inclement weather, air quality issues, personal reasons, medical emergencies, vehicle problems, or vacating your campsite early.
  • All cancellations are subject to a fee of $8.95 + 8% of the total cost of the cancellation.
  • Check-in time is after 2:00 PM. Early check-in may be accommodated, subject to availability, but it is not guaranteed. For inquiries regarding your specific reservation, please contact the park office.
  • Guests must leave site clean and free of garbage and debris.
  • Site check-out time is before 11:59am sharp!
  • A minimum charge of $150.00 + the site clean fee will be charged and due immediately for any sites left dirty.
  • A cancellation, change, and/or administrative fees may be applied where needed.
  • Reservations that are not claimed by the park's closing time on the scheduled arrival date of the reservation, will be considered a no-show. For more information, please see the NO SHOW POLICY.
  • Pack Out What You Pack In: Please ensure that all trash and personal items are removed from the park. Leave no trace of your visit and help keep the environment clean and beautiful for others.
  • Late check-in is a limited service that may be available on your check-in day. It is the guest's responsibility to call the park office and speak to an agent, during office hours, to confirm availability and make payment.
  • A nominal fee applies for the Late Check-in Service, as it requires the assistance of a staff member after the Park Office has closed. The fee is $25 for guests who do not hold a current season membership and $15 for guests with a current season membership.
  • Entry to the park is prohibited without completing the formal check-in process at the park office and will result in ejection from the premises by security, termination of membership, and cancellation of current and future reservations without refund.
  • The POINT does not offer any form of self check-in service.
  • If you're running late for your reservation, it is your responsibility to contact the park office to make arrangements with a park reservation agent over the phone to avoid the no-show status.
  • If the reservation holder does not arrive by closing on the reservation date of arrival, the reservation will be forfeited with no refund.
  • An unoccupied site may be made available to another guest or reservation.
  • There are no exceptions for our no-show, cancellation or refund policy. This includes, but it not limited to, errors when making reservations, weather, personal or medical reasons, vehicle problems, banned members, vacating your site early, etc.
  • The POINT Resort is an adult-only private membership resort and strive to be a safer space exclusively for gay and bisexual men. All guests must be 19+.
  • Signing a membership is required for admission to The POINT. By becoming a member, you agree to understand and follow the Point Resort's rules. To help speed up your check-in process, please take the time to read the rules before booking. These rules are in place to ensure a positive experience for all guests.   • We believe in making every moment count! On non-holiday weekdays., while we don’t offer day passes, you can still join in on all the fun. Book a single-night stay and enjoy the park until 11:59 AM the next day! Think of it as a day and night pass and leave when you are ready. Take advantage of all the great amenities our resort has to offer—from lounging by the pool to exploring scenic trails in the great outdoors. Your adventure awaits!
  • One-night bookings are limited and subject to availability. For more information, please contact the park office prior to your arrival to confirm your reservation.
  • The POINT is a pet-friendly park for camp-ready pets. Please ensure that the accommodation you choose permits pets.
  • Pets are limited to cats and dogs and a maximum of 2 per site.
  • For the benefit of all patrons, it is your responsibility to ensure that your pet is “camp-ready” prior to bringing them to the park.
  • Not everyone in the park is an animal person, so you must be respectful, present and responsible for your pet(s) at all times.
  • Pets are not permitted in the pool area, inside any buildings, in designated pet-free cabins and suites, or in other pet-restricted areas of the park. Pets may not be tied, tethered, or left unattended near entrances, walkways, common areas, or anywhere within or around the pool area.
  • All pets must be on a leash and secured 100% of the time while in the park with exception of when using the off leash area.
  • The POINT does not permit extendable leashes so please pack a solid lead no longer than 1 meter.
  • An off leash pet area is provided on the north side of the pond. Pets may be off leash only within this designated area and must remain under the owner's immediate supervision and control at all times.
  • For everyone's safety and enjoyment of the park, pets must never be left unattended at any time. Owners are responsible for supervising and maintaining control of their pets at all times.
  • It is required to clean up after your pet at all times and pick up and dispose of your dog’s waste in the red garbage bins at the front of the park. Do not use any park refuse bin including washrooms, rec hall, pool, etc.
  • For the benefit of all guests, no loud, aggressive, or overly protective dogs will be allowed.
  • The POINT staff reserves the right to terminate a stay without refund of any guest whose pet(s) are considered a nuisance or are disturbing other guests.
  • Pets must be current on vaccinations and in good health. Certification from a veterinarian of vaccinations must be available upon request.
  • For the complete list of pet rules, read the Pet Policy section of Park Rules prior to your date of arrival.
  • In addition to park security, The POINT is equipped with a secure access gate and security system. The primary site holder is required to obtain a security gate FOB for use during their stay. A $5 fee is charged for the purchase of the current gate FOB. This FOB is non-refundable, but on your next visit, simply return the FOB, and we will activate it for you at no charge for the same FOB type. The FOB is strictly for use by registered, checked-in guests. Using the FOB for any other purpose is a violation of park rules. Please note that gate access technology is subject to change, and if updates occur, new FOBs may be required and will be available for purchase at the then-current rate. Remember, park security is everyone's responsibility.
  • Broken, forgotten or lost FOBs are replaced at cost of $5.
  • Additional vehicles for each reservation must purchase their own FOB.
  • The POINT is a pedestrian park, driving is to be limited to entry and exit only. Parking is limited to your own site or overflow parking only. Parking anywhere else, including washrooms and other sites for any reason is not allowed, and is monitored and enforced.
  • Each site includes the parking for one vehicle, parking for additional vehicles in overflow parking is available and can be registered at the park office at a nightly rate.
  • Contact the office for any additional details, questions or concerns.
  • Campers, guests and visitors acknowledge that this is a campground and as such recognize that there are inherent dangers such as tree roots, rocks and other hazards which could cause tripping or falling. Campers, guests, and visitors shall indemnify and hold harmless The Point Tent & Trailer Resort and its owners and agents from and against any loss, illness, damage, injury, claim, cost and expense (including legal expense at all court levels) arising out of or connected with their use of The Point Tent & Trailer Resort. It is expressly agreed that all personal property or equipment now or hereafter placed, stored or located on the premises shall be the sole responsibility and at the sole risk of campers, guests and visitors, and any damage, loss, theft, or destruction thereof shall be borne by campers, guests and visitors and shall be their sole responsibility.

    Violation of any of the above policies may result in expulsion from the property and revocation of membership without refund, denial of future reservations and/or membership privileges and criminal prosecution.

QUICK REMINDS

Members' ID Requirement

The POINT is a members-only resort. All visitors must present a valid government-issued photo ID upon entry. Access will be denied to anyone unable to provide valid identification, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.

Pet Park Etiquette

Please ensure your pet is “camp-ready” before bringing them to the park, out of fairness to your pet and others. For the safety of all guests, The POINT does not permit extendable leashes. Please pack a solid lead no longer than 1 meter. Your pet must be secured at all times and should never be left unattended.

Park Safety Guidelines

The POINT is a pedestrian-first park, designed to prioritize safety and enjoyment for all visitors. To maintain this environment, the speed limit is strictly set at 12 km/h. Each site is limited to one car, which must be parked in its assigned spot.

Parking or stopping is not allowed anywhere else in the park, including near washrooms, the pool, showers, or other locations or venues. 

Check-Out Instructions

Check out time is at 11:59 am on your departure date. If you wish to extend your stay, please do so at the park office 60 minutes prior to your departure. This will allow us to confirm availability and issue your new ID band and permits.
